Just some pics

Here are some pics of the kids Chad and I have taken the last few weeks....we like to take pictures!!

Madison at the park todaSuch a happy boy!

They do like each other...most of the time!

Being silly, taking a rest on the step stools!

Good morning!

9 kids + 2 adults= FUN at the park!!!

Today the kids and I went to the park with my friend, her 2 kids and her niece...yep 9 kids!! We had a lot of fun!! It did start to get hot being in the sun! Why is it that most parks are out in the open sun with no shade around them?? Towards the end of our time the slide was too hot to go down, & the kids had fun climbing on a picnic table, so I tried to take a group picture of my daycare kiddos, but Blake had already left. I am hoping we can go back before the end of the summer and I can get more pics of the kids playing, but enjoy the ones I took today!!

Blake swinging before his mom picked him up.

Tanner trying to climb up the ladder of the slide like the big kids.

Busy Busy

We have been busy again and I am not sure what exactly we have been doing, but it seems we are constantly on the go! The kids are just about done with the summer reading program at the library, they both really enjoy books, so we go there at least once a week, & we spend lots of time outside. This past Saturday night we went to Chad's coworker/friends house for their son's birthday party, Madison had a fun playing with their daughter, & we got to watch fireworks! Thanks to Matt and Kristen for inviting us, we had a great time! Sunday, Katelyn and Ethan spent the night with us while Leah & Matt went to the Cards/Cubs game....go Cards!! The kids all played really well together and had a great time, we might have to have them stay over again, but I hope they go to bed a little earlier! They were only up till 10:30, but I had to work the next morning and was tired from running all weekend. This week Madison has been going to vacation bible school from 6-8, thanks to Lisa and Morgan for inviting her!

Madison is now signed up for pee-wee soccer, I will let everyone know when her games are as soon as we know (should be sometime next month). She is very excited! Before we know it she will be off to 3 year old preschool, I am going to miss her while she is there. I haven't really been away from her much, but at the same time, I think it will be good for the 2 of us to have a little break!! She will also be starting dance again this August, so I will be busy running her everywhere again! I am so thankful that I can be home with our 2 kids and with my other kids (my daycare kiddos), they really are a great group of kids and parents!!

Tanner is really starting to say more words, which is a good thing, but also in a way, not really. Our baby is growing into a ornery boy!! He wanted more crackers tonight and said more, he says mommy, daddy, sissy, & juice quite often and will try to bark & whistle at Zoe. I am looking forward to taking the kids to the zoo at the end of this month, I really think Tanner is going to love it, he loves all animals and gets really excited when he sees them. He keeps me on my toes most days since he likes to try to "keep up" with the older daycare kids and his sissy!

Chad has also been really busy at work, they made him the GF (general foreman). He has been stressed lately as he is making the adjustment to more responsibility. He is working at ADM in Cedar Rapids for Northwest Mechanical (they are out of Davenport). I am very proud of him and all of his accomplishments...he is a wonderful husband and a great father!!

Well I better go, as tomorrow will be another busy busy day!!

Madison's photos session

The pics of Madison at the park today.

Her mad face...Chad & I see this many times a day!

4th of July

Hope everyone had a great 4Th! We had a busy day!! We spent the afternoon at my Grandparent's house, left to go to West Burlington's parade, then went back to eat at my Grandparents, then to WB to watch the fireworks. We waited in car for the fireworks to start till Maddy had to go to the bathroom, so we left to come home. Both of the kids were tired from a long day, but it was fun to spend time with family. Today we spent most of day at home relaxing and trying to clean up the house! I did take Maddy to the park to get some pics of her in a dress we bought with bright colored flowers, she was such a ham. I am looking forward to being able to do pics of both of the kids soon, and getting some new family pictures taken also.
