Easter Bunny

On Saturday we took the kids out to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. Madison loved the bunny and Tanner not so much.

The Bunny was walking around and Madison ran up to the bunny, I think we would of chased it down the mall if she had to.

Tanner wasn't so sure. He started crying.

Maddy sitting on the bunny's lap.

I took Tanner up to see the bunny, he was ok as long as I held him. Maddy would of stayed all day if we let her.

On Sunday, I took Tanner to the mall again for the Day of the Child, he went to look at the bunny, but wouldn't get any closer.

Moving Rooms

Tanner is into trying to wear everyone's shoes..today I caught him wearing one of my shoes, he thought he was funny.

The last few weeks have been busy at our house. We only have a 2 bedroom house and a large upstairs that we have used for storage since we moved into this house, so the last few weeks we have been going through all of the boxes upstairs and we got rid of a lot of junk. We then moved our room upstairs and the kids each have their own rooms downstairs. We have baby monitors in each of their rooms, I like having the extra room, but I am still adjusting to being upstairs. Madison loves having her own space again, she is able to have her toys in her room, and Tanner loves playing in her room. We are getting carpet in her room next week (yes I am covering up the beautiful hardwood...but she is always on the floor playing), she is excited and asked the lady today (they came to measure her room) if she could have striped carpet like the rug she has in her room now. Tanner still has a few of Maddy's things in his room, they will be moved after she gets carpet. I am hoping to go through all the clothes that Chad and I had in our closet and get them all put away, we each have our own closet now (that is a good thing!). Our room is still a work in progress, we just painted the floor for now, I have been looking for a rug or something, just haven't seen anything that I really like yet. Our headboard is also large and so we had to place our bed kinda funny, but I really like my bed, and wanted to be able to use it and not have to store it. Now with this project done when the weather gets nice we have a few more things to do outside. Until next time....

Our room, we still have some work to do, but we have lots of space

Madison's room (they both have big rooms, this is a pic of just part of her room)~ the multi-colored rug is what she wanted her carpet to look like

Tanner's room..again this is just a part of his room, his room has a pack-n-play in it (his room is also used for naptime for the daycare kids), also a bookshelf, and a play kitchen

Outdoors

The kids at the park.

Hello all! Hope you all got outside to enjoy the wonderful weather this weekend. We did! Today we took the kids to the river and then to the park, they had a great time and Maddy wanted to go swimming. We took a walk along the river and then went to the park to take some pictures.
We have been doing some remodeling upstairs. We took the flooring out and have primed the walls and floor so far. We are hoping to have it all painted this week, so we can move our rooms around next weekend. Chad and I will be upstairs and Maddy will be moving to our room and Tanner will keep their room. The kids have too much stuff to share a room, and we needed to start using the upstairs. I am tired of being crammed into our house and we need to do some rearranging. Well I should get off of here, I am tired and going to relax!

Healthy Again/Gymnastics

The Klein family is healthy again! I hope all of you have missed getting the stomach bug that has been going around...we weren't so lucky. Tanner and Maddy were sick Monday night and Tuesday, I made Chad stay home from work Tuesday (I needed his help...2 sick kids is not fun!). He was sick on Wednesday, and then my family was nice to share with me on Friday. It was a long week, & I am glad it is over. Tanner still doesn't eat the best, but he isn't as crabby as he had been.
On a happier note, Maddy started gymnastics on Wednesday. She had a great time! We were very proud of her, she listened really well (she doesn't always listen the greatest), she had a blast and has been asking when she gets to go back. She is a very active 3 year old! Friday at dance her class got to go watch the other glass (it's a hip hop class), she enjoyed that. I am thinking about taking her to watch Aunt Alexa at a dance competition, there is one in Coralville, so we could see Aunt Courtney. Madison really loves dancing & I think she would have fun watching all different groups preform. Well until next time...think spring!

Bowling at Fun City

Chad & Maddy bowling.

Hello All! Hope everyone is doing well. We have had yet another busy weekend, I spent Saturday morning doing some shopping for the kids. Maddy and I can't wait for the weather to warm up so they can wear their new clothes. Then Saturday afternoon, we went to Pizza Hut for lunch, to Hy-Vee for groceries, then that night we went bowling at Fun City. Madison was so excited to go. She had a blast and wanted to wear her bowling shoes home. It was fun watching her. She starts gymnastics Wednesday evening, which she is excited for. I am looking forward to her having another activity to keep her busy. She is still taking dance and loves it. Recital will be here before we know it. I have been playing with my new camera that Chad and I purchased, I can't wait to take the kids to the park and play with it some more. We stayed home all day and it was very nice and relaxing. We ate an early dinner..which doesn't happen during the week, since Chad doesn't get home till after 7. Well until next time.....
